Maria Busa 81, of Allentown, passed away June 22, 2013. Born in Sicily, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Antonia (Gulliffa) Alibrandi. And late husband Salvatore whom she was married to for 59 years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Allentown. She was a very loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
Survivors: two daughters; Josephine, wife of Nicola DePari, and Antonina, wife of John Sorrentino; two sons, Marco Busa and Giovanni Busa and wife Rose. Brother, Pietro Alibrandi; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister lilla and granddaughter, Theresa.
Services: Mass 10a.m.; Thursday, June 27, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 801 N. 11th St; Allentown.
