Marguerite Florence Dawson, 92, of Allentown, passed away peacefully September 22, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, she was the only child of Leroy and Catherine (Young) Rupp.

She grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Friends Select High School. After, she went on to graduate from Pierce Business College. Marguerite married Theodore B. Dawson Jr. on January 10, 1948 and they celebrated 35 years of marriage before his passing on November 30, 1983; they had lived in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Christine, wife of Robert Uttard; her daughter in law, Doris Maddux; grandchildren: Julie (Uttard), wife of Timothy Kelly, Jillian Uttard, and Holly (Bartleman), wife of Brian Riegel; great grandchildren: Aiden, Andrew, Jackson, and James Kelly, Salah Uttard, and Matthew and Jonathan Weaver.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in passing by her son, Glenn, and a granddaughter, Connie (Bartleman), who was the wife of Roy Weaver.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
