Margaret (Peggy) Farrell, 88, of Allentown, PA, died suddenly at home on December 13, 2010. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 17th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Limeport, PA. A viewing will be held at the Weber Funeral Home, 101B Main St., Coopersburg, PA Thursday, December 16th from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, December 17th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial to follow. Mrs. Farrell was married for 61 years to the late Francis M. Farrell Jr. She was an active parishioner and Eucharistic minister at St. Joseph's, a volunteer and member of the Allentown Art Museum auxiliary, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a member of the Upper Saucon Ambulance auxiliary.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be remembered by her eight children: Tim and his wife Noreen of St. Paul, MN, Jane Cardwell and her husband Dan of Summit, NJ, Chris and his wife MaryBeth of Silver Spring, MD, John and his wife Suzy of Mendon, NY, Peter and his wife Sherry of Emmaus, PA, Meg Sine and her husband Frank of Bangkok, Thailand, Dick of Macungie, PA and Maureen Perkins and her husband Jim of Menomonee Falls, WI; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters Virginia Stephens and Carolyn Neumann and sister-in-law Ellen Anne Farrell.
