Margaret Isabel Berry Cope, of Allentown, passed away on October 5th at the age of 96. She was born in Allentown to the late John and Mary (Stroble) Fuchs and was predeceased by her husbands: John J. Berry and James L. Cope Sr. . Margaret had served with the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, during WWII, and then worked at Merit Manufacturing for 48 years as a sewing machine operator; she then worked for the AARP Senior Community Service Employment Program, for 11 years, retiring in 1995.
Survivors: Daughter Mary Louise Berry, Sister Adele Polzer, along with nieces and nephews.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday October 9th at 10AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Allentown.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers to the Good Sheppard Home in Allentown.
