Mahmoud Ibrahim Awad, of Allentown, passed away on September 27, 2020 at the age of 60. He was born in Zwaitiny, Syria to the late Ibrahim and Adla (Allen) Awad and has been married to his loving wife Marta for the past 31 years. He had worked in textile management for 15 years and then moved on to work for the Delaware River Toll Commission. He is a Board Member of the Syrian Arab American Charity Association. Mahmoud is survived by his wife: Marta, Daughter: Nicole Awad-Chapman, Son: Nakle and wife Georgina Awad. Son: Shadi Awad, 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters. Respects can be payed on Wednesday September 30th from 5:00 pm to 10 pm at the Zwaitiny Club 625 N 2nd St in Allentown. A viewing will be held on Thursday October 1st from 9:00 AM until a Service at 11AM; Both will be at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Allentown.
