Lulu Gargagliano, of Allentown, passed away in the comfort of her own home on March 21 at the age of 94. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Lulu was one of eight children born to the late Dominic and Victoria (Tortoricci) Scaturro and she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years Frank Joseph Gargagliano in 2006. Lulu had worked at Sondra's Fashions, LMK Manufacturing, and Palumbo's Manufacturing for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Primetime at the church and the Crazy Kids with the Lehigh County Senior Center. Lulu was predeceased by 5 of her siblings: Joseph, Sadie, and Benny Scaturro, Josie Postiglione, and Mary Carlo. Survivors: 2 Daughters: Maria and husband August Fix Jr. of Allentown and Victoria and husband Joseph Poretta of Doylestown. 6 Grandchildren: Angie Hock, Tina Long, Ashley Fix, Joseph Fix, Joseph Poretta, and Gabrielle Poretta. 8 Great Grandchildren. Sister Lena Esposito of Howard Beach, NY and Brother Leonard Scaturro of Florida Services: A viewing will be held on Wednesday March 25 from 10-11AM to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11Am Both at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave. in Allentown.
