Louise L. Kurtz
Louise L. "Tootsie" Kurtz, 75, of Allentown, passed away May 29, 2008 in her home. She was the beloved wife for 39 years to the late Richard A. Kurtz who died September 1992. Born October 25, 1932 in Allentown, Louise was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Estelle (Wagner) Gibiser. She was a graduate of Allentown High School Class of 1950. In her early years she was wife and homemaker; in later years she returned to the workforce and became General Manager of Willard Allentown Federal Credit Union and was last employed by and retired from People First Federal Credit Union where she held the position of Parkway Branch Manager. She loved to travel, attend Engelbert Humperdinck concerts, crossword puzzles and times spent with her aunts Margaret and Ellen.
Survivors: Sons Richard D. and wife Lori of Winnsboro, South Carolina, Alan F. and wife Andrea of Tamaqua, and Ronald M. of Allentown; grandsons Matthew, Michael, Brian, Andrew and Steven; granddaughters Lindsay and Sharla; and great-grandchildren Dylan and Trinity. Louise was survived by two brothers, Frank J. Gibiser and his wife Rosemarie of Allentown, Robert D. Gibiser and his wife Gwen of Center Valley; and brother-in-law Thomas F. Kurtz and his wife Patricia of Allentown.
Services: will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Weber Funeral Home 502 Ridge Avenue, Allentown where family and friends may call from 9:30 am until time of service. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown. www.weberfuneralhomes.com
