IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lorraine Annie
Ziegler
May 16, 1928 – February 19, 2021
Lorraine Annie Ziegler departed this world for Heaven on February 19, 2021 at the age of 92. She was born in Allentown on May 16, 1928 to Mamie and Wayne Becker. She was the loving wife of John Ziegler for 60 years before he passed in 2007. They had six children, two sons, John and Timothy, who did not survive infancy; and four daughters, who were by their mother's side in her final weeks.
She was a waitress for 50+ years and was known as Lori to her customers and coworkers. She loved serving people at the Mack Truck Executive Dining Room and at the Lehigh Country Club. She served as a Sunday school teacher and choir member at Calvary Temple for many years and she also attended Faith Church in Trexlertown.
As the matriarch of the family, Lorraine was affectionately known as "the Queen" by her family and left a legacy of unconditional love and acceptance to everyone she met. She was loved and adored by her four daughters and sons-in-law; Donna and Lee Haas, Beverly and Stan Dauscher, Melanie and Oscar York Sr., and Kimberly and David Trexler. She will be greatly missed by her 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, her nieces and nephews, and her girlfriends from Bible Study Fellowship.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to share memories.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice in Lorraine's honor.
