Jesus came to Earth and took Lorraine by the hand, went for a walk, and never came back.
Lorraine passed away at the age of 85 after a long illness. She was born in Summit Hill, PA to William and Mildred Lynn Martin. She has been married to Clifford Benner for 43 years. Lorraine became a nurse in 1951, the last graduating class of Palmerton Hospital. She has 5 surviving children with her late husband, Edwin D. Semmel Jr. She has 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Lorraine was active in anything she was ever involved with, especially the Coopersburg Historical Society. She will be missed by all who knew her. A private service was held per her wishes.
