Loretta R. Gangwer, 95, of Allentown passed away on August 9, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Richard Gangwer. Loretta was born in Bethlehem on December 17, 1921, to the late Thomas and Mary Riccaboni. She graduated from Central Catholic High School and dedicated her life to being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. In her spare time Loretta enjoyed reading, playing bridge, vacationing in the Poconos, and walking in Trexler Park. SURVIVORS: Son, James; daughter, Susan Lucas and husband Allan; grandson, Matthew Behr and wife Randi; sister Bernadine Baranek and husband Alfred, sister Elizabeth Hyland, and beloved spaniel, Sonny. Predeceased by sister Margaret Brandmeir. Services are private.
