Lois Hursh, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, at the age of 97. Born in Watsontown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late George and Elsie(Bailets) Mckee. Lois was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Hursh, in 2015, and by her son-in-law, David Beaver.

Lois was deeply devoted to her family and cherished every moment spent with them. She especially loved hearing stories about her children and grandchildren and took great pride in their lives and accomplishments. She had a special love for going for a “drive,” always enjoying the simple pleasure of being out and about. Lois also had quite the sweet tooth, enjoying everything from cookies & cakes to a Root Beer.

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Marlene Beaver; her son, Brian Hursh, and his wife, Shawn Marie Hursh; her grandchildren, Seth Beaver and his wife Emily, Abby Hursh, and Alyssa Hursh; and her great-granddaughter, Ellie Beaver.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Woodland Memorial Park, 1500 Airport Road, Allentown, PA. Family and friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Life luncheon immediately following the service.
