Lillian Anderson, 89, of Macungie died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in Lehigh Commons. She was born in Staten Island, NY, a daughter of the late Karl and Amalie (Olson) Anderson. Lillian was a graduate of the Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School of New York and an executive secretary for Mobil Oil in Manhattan, NY, for many years before retiring. Survivors: Sister, Thelma Meyer of Jacksonville, OR; nephews, Donald W. Meyer and wife Kathy of Overland Park, KS, Robert T. Anson and wife Amy and Thomas C. Anson all of Jacksonville, FL; nieces, Nancy Meyer of Jacksonville, OR, Karen M. wife of John Szczepanski of Mountain Top, PA and April J. Anson of Austin, TX; many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, May Anderson, Florence Anson and her late husband Thomas J. Anson and brother-in-law Donald Meyer.
