Lewis David Schleicher, 101, formerly of Allentown, died Friday, April 11, 2008 at VNA Hospice of St. Luke's in Lower Saucon Twp. He was the wife of Elizabeth P. (Fries) Schleicher for 62 years before her death on August 8, 1999. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles and Anna (Lentz) Schleicher. He was a Lab Technician for the former GAF, Corp. before his retirement in 1972. Lewis was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Allentown. He was a US Navy veteran of WW II and a 50 year plus member of the Travelers Protective Assoc. of Allentown. Survivors: Sister, Eunice Lindenmuth of Allentown; nieces and nephews.
