Lester N. Gross, "Sonny" to all who knew him, passed away on March 31st at the age of 79. He was born in Allentown to the late Lester and Emma (Fallstich) Gross and was predeceased by his wife Joan and his Grandson Stephen S. Gross Jr.

Sonny had served with the U.S. Navy and then went on to work in the garment industry for many years, until retiring in 1997. He loved music, humming, singing and telling Reader's Digest jokes. He was known to sing at the Alburtis Park, at church, and with the Liberty High School Alumni Association.

Survivors: Daughter: Maryellen Vacula, Sons: Stephen and wife Ann Gross and David and wife Judy Gross 3 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Services: A calling will be held on Monday April 6 beginning at 5PM to be followed by a service at 7PM both will be at the Metropolitan Community Church of the Lehigh Valley, 930 North 4th Street in Allentown On Tuesday April 7th a burial service will be held at 11AM at Cedar Hill Memorial Park on Airport Road in Allentown.
