Layla Tahan, 84, of Allentown died Thursday July 31, 2008 in ManorCare Health Services of Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Mousa Tahan who died in 1963. Born in Beruit, Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Nasralla and Bahija Tahan. She was a member of the Arabic Living E. C. Church of Bethlehem. Survivors: Sons; Diab and George of Damascus, Syria, Bassam and Kamal of Allentown; daughters, Juliet wife of Osama Shakour, Amal wife of Bahij Nimeh, Seham Tahan and Ghada wife of Abdo Tahan all of Allentown; sister, Samia Samara of Canada; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
