Lawson J. Neff, age 87, of Allentown, PA passed away on Dec. 26, 2011 after a brief illness. Born in Lehigh Furnace on May 16, 1924, he was a son of the late Louis and Cora (Hawk) Neff. Besides his wife of 65 yrs. Geraldine (Bauchman), he is surivived by three sons, Ron Neff and his wife Doris, of Avon, CT; David Neff of Allentown; Robert Neff and his wife Sue of Allentown; two grandchildren; Robert Neff Of Breinigsville, and Jayann Brantley and her husband Ted of Lehighton. He served proudly as a Marine during WWII landing in Guadalcanal and Okinawa. He retired from Bethlehem Steel after 30 yrs. of service. He enjoyed life and loved to play cards, bowl, and golf with his sons and many friends. He loved his life and his family deeply. He was preceded in death by brothers Clarence, Neven and Willard Neff, and sister, Arlene Williams. A special thanks for the care, compassion and love from the staff at the Village at Willow Lane where he was a resident for the past two years.
Services: Will be held on Thursday 11:30am at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton St. Allentown. A visitation will be held from 10am till time of service. On line condolences can be made at weberfuneralhomes.com
