Obituary

Kermit Reese Jacoby, 79, of Coopersburg, died Thursday, Dec. 3 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the loving husband of Janet (Dickman) Jacoby and they celebrated 50 years of marriage on March 12, 2015. Born on April 5, 1936 in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Warren Reese Jacoby and Bernadine (Knutzen) Weiner. Kermit was the owner of Jacoby Plumbing and Heating, Coopersburg and Country Kids Child Care, Center Valley, an avid toy collector and Nascar enthusiast. He loved working with wood, vacationing in the Rocky Mountains, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire and Maine. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he loved serving his family and others in his community. He was blessed with a good life filled with many fond memories.
Survivors: Wife Janet Jacoby, Daughters: Patricia Rivera and Pamela Gresavage, Son Kermit Jacoby. Grandchildren: Theodore Chiaparas, Nicole Heidelmark, Adam Chiaparas, Bryan Rivera, Gabrielle and Stefan Jacoby. Great Grandchildren Adam Chiaparas Jr. and Gabriel Chiaparas. Sisters: Coralie (Grant) Hill of Zion Hill and Phyllis Wilhelm of Massachusetts.
Services: A Graveside service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, December 9 at Zion Hill Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances in the form of contributions to the Museum of Indian Culture, 2825 Fish Hatchery Road, Allentown, Pa 18103.
