Kathy Ann (Klahre) Arbogast, 58 of Allentown, passed away on Wednesday July 27, in Lehigh Valley Hospital due to complications from her 7 month struggle with pancreatic cancer. She was the daughter of the late: Glenn D. Klahre and Donna (Wingard) Klahre and was the wife of Gary Arbogast, celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary on July 21st. She was Gary's constant soul. Kathy was a member of the Church of the Brethren and had earned an undergraduate degree from Kutztown University and a Masters degree in speech pathology from West Chester University. She was a speech pathologist for the Bethlehem School District for 33 years before retiring in 2020. She was currently volunteering for the Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Institute Food Pantry and was an officer for the American Speech - Language Hearing Association for many years. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family, her dogs Evee and Lucy, weekends with Kutztown friends, and walks in Trexler Park. She also enjoyed traveling and exploring, new foods and restaurants, vacationing in Ogunquit, Maine, reading, puzzles and music. Survivors: Husband Gary, Two Sons: James David Arbogast and Cory Ross Arbogast. Brother Michael Klahre and wife Maria, niece Christina Klahre, Nephews Glenn Klahre and Ian Klahre-Bork. She was predeceased by her brother David Klahre. A memorial service is being planned for the future. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for Pancreatic Cancer.
