Kathryn "Kitty" Maher, 78 of Allentown, passed away on November 13, 2015 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was a very caring and devoted wife to her husband Holmes S. Maher, to whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage this past July. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late: Frank and Kathryn (Leickel) Piff. Kitty was a graduate of Allentown High School and a real estate agent for Real Estate of America. Kitty was the third woman to get a real estate license, in the Lehigh Valley. She was a great cook, baker, and animal lover, especially to her dog Knight. She was predeceased by brothers William E. Piff and Frank Piff III and an aunt Doras B. Piff.
Survivors: Husband Holmes, Brothers Edward W. Piff and Richard H. Piff, Sister Pauline Gecsek, as well as cousins and nieces.
Services: A viewing will be held on Thursday November 19 from 6-8PM and on Friday November 20 from 9-10AM to be followed by a service at 10AM all will be at Weber Funeral Home 1619 Hamilton Street in Allentown.
