Kathryn M. "Kay" Spisszak, of Allentown, passed away on June 10th at the age of 93. She was a dandy of a dresser, decorated for every holiday, loved dancing, was a "hugger" and frequently wrote letters. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Kay was born in Allentown to the late Stephen and Mary (McAndrews) Ellwood and was predeceased by her husband Fred C. Spisszak, in 2006. She had worked in the cafeteria at Muhlenberg College, for Leh's Department store, and Dempsey's Dinner. Kay was a member of The Cathedral of St. Catherine of Sienna in Allentown, the Senior Center, in Allentown, and would frequently attend luncheon gatherings with her ladies group at the Knights of Columbus Restaurant.
Survivors: Daughters: Frances C. and husband Robert Donlan, and Ann Marie and husband Robert West, Grandchildren Robert, Colleen, and Luke, Great Grandchild Rory.
Services: A viewing will be held on Saturday June 15 from 9:30 AM until a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30AM both will be held at The Cathedral of St. Catherine of Sienna in Allentown.
