Kathleen Marie Pearce, 90, long time resident of Bucks County and most currently living in Osprey, Florida, passed August 2nd, 2026. Born the youngest of 6, to parents John and Margaret (Rosavich) Pasieka, she was the wife of Joseph Francis Pearce II, until his passing in 2011. Kathleen was a dedicated nurse and enjoyed her career working in hospitals, mental health facilities and school nursing. She worked alongside 3 out of 4 of her children at some point during her career, and eventually retired at age 76.

Kathleen took in all that life had to offer her. She came from humble beginnings, the youngest of six children in a poor immigrant household, and worked hard to achieve her dreams. She often worked three jobs to not only make ends meet, but to put herself through school and earn her Masters. When she moved from her hometown of Mahanoy City to West Philadelphia to pursue her degree, she also met the love of her life, Joseph. Together they started a family, providing their four children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with a foundation of faith, value for education, and love. Many family members have gone on to become nurses themselves, inspired by Kathleen’s passion. Work was not Kathleen’s only joy, however; she was full of energy until the end and enjoyed living life deeply. Just a week before her passing, she had thrown herself a 90th birthday party where she danced the night away. She just wanted her entire family together whenever she could. She loved to have reunions each year and enjoy their company. She loved to go listen to live music with her daughter and new friends in Florida. She enjoyed the “spirits of life” fully. Kathleen was a woman of faith, of family, and just full of joy.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Joseph (Caroline) Pearce, Kathy Pearce, and Kimberle Pearce; grandchildren Joey (Maureen) Pearce, Jimmy (Danielle) Pearce, RJ Rudd, Nicholas (Rachel) Ruud, Michael Rudd, Brian (Allison) Pearce, Kirsten (Kyle Greener) Pearce, Rachele (Jess) Mower, and Matthew Sutton; great grandchildren Grace, Lillian-Kate, Rinoa, Alanna, Cameron, Aria, Ava, Easton, Riley, Madison, Ellie, Hazel, and Bennett; and beloved service dog Maggie.

In addition to her husband and parents, Kathleen is predeceased by her son Brian Pearce and five siblings.
