Kathleen "Maxie" H. Makowiec, 68, of Allentown, passed away June 27th, 2017. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edward Makowiec and Florence (Plusar) Lukow.

During her career, Kathi worked in the spot welder department at Stanley Vidmar as a carriage riveter for 29 years until her retirement.

She is survived by one sister, Barbara, wife of John Hottenstein, two nieces, one nephew, many great nieces and nephews, and many great-great nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Friday June 30th, 2017 from 6-8pm at Weber Funeral Home 502 Ridge Ave., Allentown. A second viewing will be held on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 from 830-930am at Weber Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church on Saturday July 1st at 10am 920 S. 2nd Street, Allentown.
