Karen L. Konold
Karen L. Konold, 60, died peacefully on September 28, 2010 at her daughter's residence after a long battle with cancer. Born in Quakertown, PA, she was a daughter of Janet (Kulp) Crouthamel and the late Titus Crouthamel. She was the loving wife of James E. Konold for 28 years this past July 16. Karen had worked as a pediatric nurse for PSA Health Care and Bayada Nursing for 15 years. She loved watching the sunrise at the beach and spending time with her granddaughter Bryanna. She was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church, Richlandtown.
Survivors: Husband, James E. of Richlandtown; Mother, Janet Crouthamel of Quakertown; Son, Bryan Hummel, husband of Alex of Rochester, NY; Daughter, Heather Hummel of Allentown; Son, Corey Konold of Chapel Hill, NC; Brothers, Keith and Kerry Crouthamel both of Quakertown; and granddaughter, Bryanna Hummel-Sotak.
