June A. Bixler, 90, formerly of Montrose Manor, passed away peacefully July 15, 2021 at Berkshire Commons in Exeter Township where she resided since 2019.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Kenneth G. Bixler, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage this October.

She is also survived by her four children: Frederick, husband of Patricia (Germann) of Sinking Spring PA; Sherry, wife of Timothy Slichter of Marianna FL; James, husband of Debra (Steffy) of Mohnton PA; and Wendy, wife of Eric Seidel of Sinking Spring PA.

She is further survived by her five grandchildren, Jesse Bixler, Kelly (Slichter) Bailey, Mitchel Myers, Hannah Seidel, and Cora Seidel as well as her 3 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Lucas and Hunter.

June retired from the Governor Mifflin School District where she worked for many years as a cafeteria employee.  Previous to that, she worked for decades as a waitress in many local establishments including The Ironmaster, The Shillington Restaurant, and the Far East.

Graveside services will be on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11:00am at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring PA.
