Julio Isrrael Alvarez passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 29th, 2017, one day short of his 81st birthday. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, on June 30th, 1936. Julio was originally from Wayne, New Jersey, he then relocated to Bucks County, which he was proud to call home! He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Alvarez. Julio was lovingly referred to as "Pito". He had a passion for biking and could often be spotted in his straw hat, biking around Jim Thorpe and Hellertown on the Saucon Rails Trail. SURVIVORS: two daughters; Julie Alvarez-Nyce and her husband Brian, Annabelle O'Brien and her husband Stephen Sr., two grandsons; Stephen Jr. and Thomas O'Brien, and his beloved dog, Dove. SERVICES: 11AM, Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at NORCROSS-WEBER FUNERAL HOME, 101 B NORTH MAIN STREET COOPERSBURG. A visitation will be held from 10AM until time of service. Burial is private.
