Josephine "Jo Jo" Hanisits,96, a resident of Phoebe Home, went to meet her family on September 25, 2017. She was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Blasovitch) Hanisits. Josephine was a life long member of Sacred Heart Church ,Allentown, where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Bethlehem Maennerchor. She was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.

SURVIVORS: Never married or had children, she was lovingly cared for and is survived by her nephew Joseph Unger and his wife Iris (Layton) Unger; nieces, Michelle Rivera, Donna Novakovich, Arlene Unger; nephew, Christopher Unger and great-great nieces and a nephew. Josephine is predeceased by her parents; brothers, John, William, Peter and sisters Anna Hanisits and Hermina Unger.

SERVICES; Visitation will be held, Friday, September 29, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 10AM at Sacred Heart Church, 336 N 4th St ,Allentown PA 18102. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Arrangements entrusted to WEBER FUNERAL HOME, 502 RIDGE AVE. ALLENTOWN.
