Joseph William Thompson, Jr., 57, of Allentown, died January 15, 2012 surrounded by his loving family at the Hospice house of the VNA of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twp. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph W. and Malinino "Dolly" (Smith) Thompson, Sr. He was employed by Exel Logistics as an Equipment Operator for four years and Mack Trucks for 20 years. He was a basketball and track standout for William Allen High School from '69-'72.
Survivors: Daughters, Shelly Okemba, Emmy-Jo Thompson, Torrie Thompson, and Phallen Heinrich; Son, Joseph William Thompson, III; Brothers, James, Jonathan, and David Thompson; Grandchildren, Tyler, Alexis, Thomas, Teyera-Lyn, Viktoriyah, Joseph, IV, Amauri, Joseph, and Shanice; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
