Joseph, 81, of Bethlehem passed away on December 21, 2013. He was born in Allentown on November 15, 1932 to the late Louis and Angelina (Esposito) Savarese. He was a meat cutter and owned 3 fresh meat deli stores in Nazareth and Bath, loved the outdoors, horseback riding, and was a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

Survivors: Ex-spouse Doris Savarese; long time companion Terry Ruhf; sons Louis and Joseph Savarese; sister Josephine Kudla; grandchildren Jackson, Jamie, and Daniel Savarese; and many other loving family and friends.

Services: Viewing Friday, December 27 from 6-8pm at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave, Allentown. Viewing Saturday, December 28 from 9-9:50am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd, Bethlehem. Mass to follow at 10am. Internment will then follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Whitehall.
