Joseph W. Ott, 88, of Allentown, passed away March 21 at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Rose (Smith) and Casper Ott. Joseph proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII. He retired from the Comptroller of the Currency in 1984 after many yrs. of service as National Bank Examiner. He previously worked for Bonney Forge, Tool Works, Air Products, and the Lehigh County Assessors Office. Joseph was a member of the St. Francis and St. Aloysius Societies. Joseph was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Allentown. Survivors: Nephews, Andrew Ferenschak, Phillip Ferenschak, Michael Bobek, and Francis Bobek; nieces, Rosemary Drews, Joanne Bobek, Rita Guth, and Christine Roth. He was predeceased by sisters, Mary Ferenschak, and Rita Bobek. Services: Mass of Christian Burial on Friday 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, please call from 8:45-9:45a.m. in the church, 336 N. 4th St. Interment will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
