Joseph Kovacs Jr., 90, passed away Sept. 22 at St. Luke's Hospice. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Ethel and Joseph Kovacs Sr. Joseph was the husband of Thelma (LeVan) for the past 66 yrs. He proudly served our country during WWII in the Navy. Joseph retired from Western Electric in 1983 where he worked as a welder for many yrs. Survivors: Wife; son, Jeffrey and wife Pamela; daughter, Joslyn wife of Paul Smith Jr.; four grandsons; brother, Ernest Kovacs. He was predeceased by brother Rudolph Kovacs.
