Joseph Koury
Joseph Koury, 73, of Allentown, passed away January 31, 2008 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. Born in Shenandoah, PA, he was a son of the late Sam and Sadie (Azar) Koury. He was the loving husband of Mary Jane (Charles) Koury for over 41 years. He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catherine's of Siena, Allentown, where he was an usher and member of the Men of the Cathedral. He was a peacetime U.S. Army veteran. He was a mechanic for the 15th St. Exxon, formerly Nader Brothers Exxon. A bright light has gone out, but will always shine bright in our hearts and now in his heavenly home. Joe will be deeply missed by all. He was a very loving father, grandfather and uncle. The little ones all loved Joe-Joe. Our loss is heavens gain. We take comfort in knowing we will all be together again.
Survivors: Loving wife, Sons, Joseph M, husband of Lori of Whitehall and David S. of Allentown; Daughter, Sarah Jane Koury of Allentown; Brother, John of Shenandoah; Grandchildren, Taylor, Alyssa, and Dylan Joseph; many nieces and nephews.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the Cathedral of St. Catherine's of Siena, 1825 Turner St., Allentown, PA. Viewing: 7:00 - 9:00 P.M., Monday, February 4, 2008 and 8:30 - 9:30 A.M., Tuesday, Feb. 5. at the Weber Funeral Home, P.C., 1619 Hamilton St., Allentown, PA.
