Joseph Khalil, 70, of Amar, Syria died Thursday October 17, 2013, surrounded by his family in Whitehall, PA. He was the husband of Loulou Khalil (Alkhal) whom celebrated 50 years of marriage. He was born in Amar, Syria. He was the son of Ibrahim Khalil, and the late Aziza Khalil (Azar). He was a member of Arabic Living E.C. Church. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, and being with his family. He was a very compassionate man with a great smile, who loved and wished for the best for all.

He was survived by his wife, Loulou Khalil (Alkhal). Children: Son, Abraham Khalil; Daughters: Rawia Azar, Aziza Khalil, Tammy Nomie, Jolane Achie, and Lora Nomie. Brothers: Albert Khalil, Nabih Khalil, and Anis Khalil. Sisters Tamine Hanna and Nabiha Mamari, and 19 grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday October 21, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 501 Ridge Ave, Allentown, PA 18102. Calling hour will begin from 9 to 11 directly followed by the service at 11.
