Joseph F. Glassic, Jr., 60, of Coopersburg, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013. Born in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Vida (Taylor) Glassic. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel for 26 years and was last employed by Alliance for Building Communities for the past 8 years. Coach Joe was a beloved coach of the Southern Lehigh Football Program.

Survivors: Wife, Julie; son, Adam G.; daughter, Paula; brother, John; sisters, Irene and Theresa; father-in-law, Mike.

Services: 7:30 PM on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, 101 N. Main St., Coopersburg, PA. A visitation will take place from 5:30 PM until time of service, all at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coach Joe Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o SLFBC, 6261 Domarray St., Coopersburg, PA 18036.
