Jose Luis Torres, 56, of Tarboro, NC, passed away October 16, 2016. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of Felix Luis and Paula (Diaz) Torres Gonzales. Jose is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Barbara (Johnson) Torres and Jay'Miere (Johnson) White, the love of his life.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Barbara (Johnson) Torres of Tarboro, NC, Jay'Miere (Johnson) White. Two stepchildren, Latisha P. Johnson and Jonathan J. (Johnson) Maldonado both of Tarboro, NC. Sister-in-laws, Gloria M. Johnson of Tarboro, NC and Dorothy Roberson of Jacksonville, FL. Brother-in-laws, Wesley L. Johnson of Quakertown PA., and the late Edward Powell of Norristown, PA. Special friends, JaQuater Staton and Minnie L. Hines both of Tarboro, NC and Herschel Baggatte of Rocky Mt., NC. Five grandchildren and host of many In-Laws.
