Jos Martinez, 92 of Allentown, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home Allentown. Born July 23, 1922 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Gavin and Justina (Gonzalez) Martinez and the husband of Carmen Rosa (Reyes) Martinez. During his life, he was employed by Lehigh Valley Plastics and B&G Station as a Prep Chef. Jose enjoyed cooking and entertaining people loudly. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Allentown, Pa., for many years, where his faith in God was an important part of his life.
Survivors: Sons; Jorge, Hector, Marco Hernandez, Luis, Alejandro and David. Daughter; Carmen, wife of Anthony Pagnano. 29 Grandchildren. Jose was predeceased by his sons; Jeranfel & Jose Hernandez and Ivan.
