John Walter Wasniewski, 82, passed away April 27, 2006 at his residence. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Sigismund and Stanislava (Baczyuska) Wasniewski. He was married to Rose (Oakes) Wasniewski for over 58 years. Mr. Wasniewski is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Limeport, and the Polish Home, Philadelphia. He is a life member of the VFW post 3405.
Survivors: Wife; Son, Jim, husband of Theresa of NJ; Daughter, Rosemarie, wife of Alan Jones of Quakertown; Brothers, Edward, Frank, and Chester; Grandchildren, James, Brenden, Toni, and Alan, Jr.; Great grandfather of 6.
Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 1, 2006 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Road, Limeport, PA. Viewing: 10:00 AM until time of mass. Arrangements by Norcross-Weber Funeral Home. www.weberfuneralhomes.com
