John Nicholas Tumini
John Nicholas Tumini, 90, of Allentown, died on July 21, 2011 at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Celia (Prete) Tumini-Cosmos. John was predeceased by a step-father, George Cosmos. He was the husband of the late Anna Marie (Vitale) Tumini for over 60 years until her death in 2005. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Sacred Heart Catholic Churches, Allentown. He served in the U.S. Army-Air Force during WWII. He worked for A&P markets for many years until retiring in 1983.
Survivors: Daughter, Rita A., wife of John Yeager of Allentown; Son, George, husband of Patricia of Allentown; Grandchildren, Tracy, wife of Jonathon Pany, Stephanie, wife of Salvatore Manda, and John, husband of Shannin; Great Grandchildren, Olivia and Nathan; Brothers, Donald and George Cosmos; Sisters, Rose Marie Murray and Eugenia Oplinger.
