John L. Sharesky, of Whitehall, Pa , passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 79. He was born in Allentown to the late: John and Agnes (McKinley) Sharesky. John was a graduate of Dieruff High School Class of 1962 and then he served in the United States Army from 1965-1967 in Korea. John had sold high end vehicles for over 30 years in the Lehigh Valley, was an avid billiard player playing in a league at Jordan Lanes and enjoyed watching Philadelphia sport teams, especially the Eagles. He enjoyed his weekly Friday morning breakfasts at the diner with his high school buddies for many years. John adored his grandkids and was so proud of everything that they did, especially proud of all their acceptances to Penn State University as he was a huge Penn State fan Himself. He was predeceased by his sisters: Judith Sharesky and Kathleen Wetzel. Survivors: Children: Troy Sharesky, Christopher Sharesky, Nicole Godshall and husband Ralph. Grandchildren: Bethany Sharesky, Kaitlyn Sharesky, Chase Pavelko, Brody Pavelko, Camryn Pavelko, Madison Godshall and Morgan Godshall. Significant Other : Mary Hearn Moyer, her daughter Michelle and husband Paul Dunstan and their children Matt, Ben and Abby. Services: There will be a burial service with military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday July 21, 2023 at 1:30PM sharp with the memorial celebration taking place on Saturday July 22, 2023 at Camp Olympic Barn in Emmaus at 2:00 PM, all are welcome to pay their respects.
