John J. Pelizoto, of Whitehall, passed away on August 29at the age of 86. He was born in Bethlehem to the late Girolomo Pelizoto and Victoria (Mandala) Pelizoto- Mussalami and was predeceased by his wife Rita (Allegranzi) and his son James. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him, especially by his Great Grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Pop Pop P". John proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, during WWII, and had been a Tile Setter for various area contractors. He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, the Italian Club in Allentown, and the International Union of Brick Layers and Allied Craft Workers, Local 31-PA.
Survivors: Daughter Dena Rivas, Grand Daughter Nicole and husband Aaron Tully, Great Grandchildren Alaineey, Dakota, "Butchy", Hailey, and Shelby.
Services: A viewing will be held on Tuesday September 4th starting at 9:30 Am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM both at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, in Whitehall, Pa.
