John "Louie" Pastor, age 85, of Allentown, passed away in the comfort of his home on Friday, April 20, 2018. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth M. Pastor (Petrakovich), they were married 59 years.

Born in Allentown, John was the son to the late Joseph and Anna (Bucko).

John graduated from Allentown High School in 1950. He later served in the United States Army as a Sergeant during the Korean Conflict .

He retired in 1988 after 36 years from Exide Battery. After retirement, he also enjoyed working for Muhlenberg College in their mailroom.

John loved spending time with his family especially their annual trips to the beach at Stone Harbor. He enjoyed being a volunteer for the Boys and Girls Club of Allentown.

He was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Allentown.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his daughters; Ann M. and husband Timothy Ruth, and Betsy A. and husband Lee Solt both of Allentown, grandchildren; Lauren Ruth and Anthony Solt.
