John Nemeth, 96, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ and Indian Harbor, FL, passed away Feb. 22 in Dover DE. Born in West Virgina, he was the son of the late John and Teresa (Cigialy) Nemeth. He was the husband of Rose (Sos) for 72 yrs. prior to her passing last year. John retired from J.T. Baker Chemical Co. in Phillipsburg in 1979 after 28 yrs. ; he then became a self employed carpenter until age 73. Survivors: Daughters, Shirley A. Bussenger of Mt. Bethel, Donna wife of John Curcio of Plantation FL; sons, John L. Nemeth and wife Marlene of Vero Beach, FL, Barry R. Nemeth and wife Wantanee of Dover, DE; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson. He was predeceased by siblings; Helen Vanatta, Mary Striesek, Rose Miller, Anna, Louis, and Joseph Nemeth. Services: A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexor Ave. Allentown, on Saturday at 1:30 pm. Please call in the church from 12:15 till 1:15 pm.
