John S. Montour, 68, died peacefully in Sacred Heart Hospital on January 14 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was born to the late Joseph and Josephine Montour in Kahnawake, Que., and predeceased by a sister, Linda. John was a faithful member of the Allentown Blind Bowling League for many years, which he enjoyed immensely. He attended school in the Sacred Heart Parish. Over the years, he worked at The Lighthouse, Good Shepherd Workshop, and, lately, at the Goodwill Workshop.
SURVIVORS: Brothers: Michael (Marianne) and Thomas, both of Kahnawake; sisters: Corinne Ogden of Alburtis, Margaret Fagliano (James) of Treichlers, and Theresa Langstroth (Claude) of Vancouver, BC; many nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Services will be held in Kahnawake, Que. at the Poissant and Fils Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Allentown Blind Bowling League should be made to Weber Funeral Homes. WWW.WEBERFUNERALHOMES.COM
