John, 87, of Whitehall, passed away on July 13, 2014. He was born in Shamokin, PA on November 21, 1926 to the late John J. and Bernice (Stefanowicz) Hertzog. He served in the marines during WWII, and the Navy Seabees during Korea. He retired from Jandl farms as a foreman after 35 years of service. He is predeceased by his wife Geraldine, with whom he spent 64 years of marriage; his son John Hertzog Jr; brother Charles; and sisters Connie and Anna Mae;

Survivors: Sons Jess, Jeffrey, and Jason; daughters Joslyn and Judy; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Services: Graveside service Friday, July 18, at 11:30am at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Rd, Allentown.
