John Federinitz, 86, of Allentown, died Tuesday April 25 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Ella C. (Long) Federinitz for the past 64 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles and Eva (Motko) Federinitz. John was employed by the City of Allentown as an operator in the sewage treatment plant. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church . He was a World War II veteran serving with the US Navy. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a lifetime member of the Hogans Social Club of Allentown. Survivors: Wife; daughter Shirley A. wife of Thomas J. Coyle of Fairfax Station, VA; grandsons, John, Shannon and Patrick; seven great-grandchildren.
