Obituary

Johanna C. Keller, 84, passed away April 10 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Allentown, while being comforted by her family. Born in Conshohocken, she was a daughter of the late George and Teresa H. (Wunderler) Gessitz. Johanna was the wife of George F. Keller Jr. for 55 yrs. prior to his passing in 2000.During WWII she worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" at Vultee Aircraft. Johanna was proud to earn her Assoc. Degree in Business Mgt. from LCCC. She worked as a seamstress at Sea Nymph, at GE , and AT&T as an assembly operator and also as a customer service rep for Dunn & Bradstreet. Johanna was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Survivors: Son, Kevin and wife Bonnie; daughter, Joan wife of John Balla; brothers, George and William Gessitz; sisters, Ceil Kostick, Hilda Polzer, Theresa Schlager; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother Charles and sisters Pauline Faustner and Mary Reichel. Services: A Mass will be held on Wed. at 10:30am.
