Jean Theresa Kohl died at age 95 on February 26, 2025 at Country Meadows Nursing Home. She was the daughter of Nunzio and Mary Trentalange of Allentown. She was married to Richard E. Kohl Sr. of Bethlehem for 43 great years.

Children are: Richard E. Kohl Jr of Whitehall, deceased at 44, Pattiann Rohrbach married to Richard Rohrbach of Bethlehem, Theresa Snyder married to Todd Snyder of Camp Hill, PA; there are 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and she leaves behind a brother, Francis Trentalange and wife Barbara, and sister, Lillian Hartzell of Allentown.

Jean graduated from Allentown High School in 1947. She worked for Office Utilities of Allentown, Bell Telephone Center for 5 full years and then for many part-time evenings, and eventually retired from Allentown School District after 14 years of working in the cafeteria department. She also worked for a year at Lehigh Valley Courthouse as tip staff and court crier. She volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital for 12 years and was a member of: Lehigh Valley Pioneers of Bell Telephone, Cetronia Citizens, Lower Macungie Citizens, and Lehigh Valley Citizens. She was also a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She always loved to be with her family and Jean loved dancing, singing, playing cards, and mahjong with friends. She loved to travel.

A viewing will be held Monday, March 3rd from 10AM until the mass of Christian burial at 11AM all at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 1040 Flexer Ave, Allentown, PA 18103. Entombment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's name to the American Diabetes's Association.
