Jayme R. "Whitey" Gangaway, Sr.
Jayme R. "Whitey" Gangaway, Sr., 85, of Allentown, died July 29, 2010 at Manorcare Nursing Home, Salisbury twp. He was the loving husband of Madeline (Hein) Gangaway for 50 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John and Cecelia (Kenner) Gangaway. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was employed as a truck driver by Vito's, Rock Quarry.
Survivors: Wife; Daughters, Star and Bonnie, both of Allentown; Sons, Roy and Scott of Allentown, Harold of Alburtis, and Jayme, Jr., husband of Sandra Lee of New Hampshire; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services: 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at the Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave., Allentown. Viewing: 10:00 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home. Interment in Grandview Cemetery. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
