It is with great sadness we announce that Janice E. Rossetti of Whitehall passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 84, at Fellowship Community. Jan was born in Bethlehem to the late William Greene and Elizabeth (Andrasko) Greene.
Jan graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1960 then worked as a bookkeeper first at E.C. Machin, Inc. then in the family business at Allentown Tile & Marble Company. Over the years, she served as an office manager and bookkeeper at Blue Valley Welding Co., JWS Technologies, and ended her career at Duggan & Marcon, Inc.
Jan was a caring, generous, and strong person who had a wonderful sense of humor. She was dedicated to her family. She loved to tend her flower gardens, was an avid reader, and cherished time with animals---cats, dogs, rabbits, and all other types. When her children were growing up, she spent her time and talent sewing, crocheting, knitting, and creating stained glass pieces. She also enjoyed the beach visiting many Caribbean islands and Hawaii as well as spending time in Bethany Beach, DE.
Jan will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends. A special thank you to the nurses and other staff at Fellowship Community who cared for her while she was ill.
She is survived by two daughters, Christine (Pat) Watterson of St. Louis, MO, and Kathleen (Dimitri) Diamandopoulos of Whitehall, PA; Three grandchildren, Raymond Thomas of Blacksburg, VA, Bobby Thomas of Arlington, VA, and Samantha Thomas of Richmond, VA; sister, Jo-Ann Greene (Ernest) Schreiber of Lancaster, PA; nephew, William (Marianne) Schreiber of Alexandria, VA.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 24, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave, Whitehall PA 18052. A calling hour is scheduled from 9-10 am at the church with Mass beginning at 10 am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Whitehall.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jan’s memory to Fellowship Community, Spirit Fund for Charitable Care, 3000 Fellowship Dr., Whitehall, PA 18052, or Peaceable Kingdom Animal Shelter, 1049 MacArthur Rd, Whitehall PA 18052.
