Janice C. Mayers, 85, passed away from Alzheimer's on November 20, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Bethlehem to the late Ammon and Helen (Berwick) Hendricks. She was married to her husband Robert for 62 years. Janice worked for McCrory's, before raising a family. She was a Sunday school teacher at Chestnut Hill Church, loved to read, exercise, watch baseball, travel, and supported many charitable organizations, including St Jude's, Veterans, and Native American groups. She was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, in Allentown. Janice was predeceased by her son Mark Wayne Mayers and sister Jean Schwoerer.
Survivors: Husband Robert, Children: Julie (Randy) Moyer, Lori (Julio) Ortiz and John (Patricia) Mayers, 3 Grandsons: Tyler, Dylan and Casey Moyer, Sister Doris Hilbert, along with Nieces and Nephews.
Services: A calling will be held on Monday November 27th at 10AM and a service at 11AM; both will be at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church at 1151 S Cedar Crest Blvd, Allentown, PA 18103.
