Janet, 54, of Center Valley passed away on May 26, 2015. She was born in Wheeling, WV, on June 17, 1960 to Evelyn (Ranek) and the late Benjamin Timmer. Janet spent 36 years of marriage with her loving husband Kevin Slifer. She was a long time receptionist at the law offices of Fitzpatrick, Lentz, & Bubba. She loved animals and helped Logan's Heroes and Last Chance Ranch. She also helped Boutique at the Rink, and loved to help with charity fundraisers.

Survivors: Mother Evelyn; husband Kevin; daughters Amanda Wilson and husband Jim, Amber Smith, and Alyssa Slifer; son Andrew Slifer and wife Larissa; grandchildren Alexandria, Cole, Ava, and Parker; brother Mark Timmer and wife Lori; step-father, Harry Ranek; 2 half sisters; and 3 half brothers.

Services: A visitation will be held Monday, June 1, from 6-8pm, followed by a service at Norcross Weber Funeral Home, 101B N. Main St., Coopersburg. Interment will be privately held at a later date.
